Ashish Agarwal, President
Ashish has 7 years’ experience working in the startup environment in India with various roles in Analytics and Strategy. His has Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Six Sigma Green Belt Credential and Online Marketing Certified Professional (OMCP) certification. At Smith, Ashish is a dual degree MBA and MS in Information Systems student, with concentration in business analytics.
Jared Spier, Executive VP
Jared has several years of experience as a data analyst in the public and private sectors, most recently as a summer intern at Marriott International. At Marriott, Jared was a member of the Consumer Insights and Revenue Strategy team and worked on an initiative to help detect and reduce fraud related to the Marriott Rewards program. Prior to business school, Jared spent five years as a consultant to the federal government, first at Booz Allen Hamilton and then Deloitte, working on “big data” projects for the Federal Aviation Administration and the Military Health System.
Margarita Douglas, VP of Marketing and Communications
Margarita has worked for over 3 years in multinational CPG companies like Nestle and PepsiCo in Moscow on various positions in analytics. She has a broad experience in business analytics, category management, and product launch/promotions in the CPG industry. This summer Margarita was an MBA Sales Strategy intern at Innovation team in PepsiCo Beverages HQ in White Plains, NY.
Hui Zhu, VP of Finance
Hui is a 2nd year MBA/MSIS candidate focusing on financial industry. She obtained Japanese and International Economics & Trade dual degree from East China Normal University in China. After graduation, she has worked for four years in Mizuho Bank (China) in a quality control role. This summer, Hui did her internship in AIG Japan as an internal audit role. She is interested in the application of data analytics for financial industry. In addition to Data Analytics Club, Hui is also the VP of External Relations of International MBA Association and member of Financial Association.
Kevin Hannigan, Co-VP of Logistics
Kevin is a second-year MBA with a focus in Supply Chain. He had spent four years working in broadcast journalism, first as an intern for Special Report w/Bret Baier at Fox News Channel, then as a Desk Assistant and Researcher for NBC News Washington, and finally as an Assignment Editor for ABC-7/WJLA in the Washington, DC market. This past summer, he interned as a Procurement Specialist for Fannie Mae. Kevin also serves as President of the Professional Communications Club and as Vice President of Marketing for the Supply Chain & Operations Club.
Michael Fallon, Co-VP of Logistics
Michael served 4 years as an Army Infantry Officer prior to joining Smith’s MBA program. Focused on Supply Chain optimization and Operations. Interned with Amazon this summer as part of their Pathways Operations program. Prior to joining the military earned a B.S. in International Relations and Diplomacy from Seton Hall University where he also met his wife Lauren.
Andres Gonzalez Casabianca, Co-VP of External Affairs
Andres brings over 5 years of international work experience that cover the finance and the insurance industry. Andres worked as a Senior Specialist Actuary in OLD MUTUAL, a multinational specializing in life insurance, investments and retirement funds. There, he was responsible for the valuation of the company and forecast of future cash flows. In his previous role at Davivienda, Colombias´ second biggest bank, Andres worked his way from risk analyst to team leader in a short span, where he led an outstanding team of five, responsible for a US$3 billion portfolio.
Riddhi Kumar, Co-VP of External Affairs
Riddhi is a second year MBA student, focusing on Marketing Strategy and Analytics to pursue a career in Product Management. This summer she interned with Cvent, a McLean based Saas Event Management Solutions company, as a Product Management intern. Over her first year at Smith, Riddhi worked as an Assistant Product Manager, for an in-house health-fair management app. Riddhi is also VP of International Student Affairs in the Smith MBA Association, the VP of Marketing in the Smith Association of Women MBAs, and an OCS Leadership Fellow. Prior to Smith, she spent three years working with Cvent as a Senior Quality Engineer.
Madeleine Mersky, Co-VP of Technology & Awareness
Madeleine is a second-year MBA candidate focusing on General Management, Entrepreneurship, & Consulting. Following her first year, she worked at Amazon as a Pathways Operations Intern. Prior to business school, Madeleine was a co-founder of and served as VP of Product & Operations for a startup which developed TaptIn, an iOS & Android mobile application which connects hospitality and entertainment venues to their customers. Madeleine is a Deans Fellow, a Forté Fellow, and serves as EVP for the Supply Chain & Operations Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Jewish MBA club, and as the Co-VP of Technology & Awareness for the Data Analytics Club.
